Our Fleet.
We operate and maintain a modern fleet dedicated to ensuring a safe, reliable and comfortable ride for everyone. Our current fleet of buses are built by leading manufacturers such as Gillig and New Flyer, and utilize a mix of clean diesel and hybrid technology. These buses are fully accessible with ramps or lifts, dedicated securement areas and priority seating for individuals with disabilities.
Our entire fleet is equipped with modern HVAC systems, security cameras, and GPS tracking to support both our fixed-route service and our specialized ADA/Paratransit and on-demand microtransit services. SEAT’s fleet of buses are funded with 80% Federal Transit Administration capital grants, and 20% State of Connecticut capital grants.
