WRTD - Windham Region Transit District

Windham Region Transit District, or WRTD, serves the towns of Ashford, Chaplin, Columbia, Coventry, Lebanon, Mansfield, Scotland, Willington and Windham with regular bus services in the region.

SEAT offers connecting service to WRTD’s Route 991 via Routes 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 980 & 982 via the Norwich Transportation Center and Route 108 via Foxwoods Resort Casino. Please see WRTD’s website for fare and service interval information.

WRTD - Windham Region Transit District

RVT - River Valley Transit

River Valley Transit, formerly known as 9 Town Transit and Middletown Area Transit, serves the towns of Middletown, Old Saybrook and Madison with a combined system of fixed-route and micro-transit options.

SEAT offers connecting services to RVT’s Route 643 via our Routes 1, 2, 3, 12, 13, 14, 15 & 108 via New London Union Station. Please see RVT’s website for fare and service interval information.

RVT - River Valley Transit

Northeastern Connecticut Transit District

Northeastern Connecticut Transit District, or NECTD, serves the towns of Brooklyn, Canterbury, Eastford, Hampton, Killingly, Plainfield, Pomfret, Putnam, Sterling, Thompson and Woodstock with on-demand flex-route bus services in the region.

SEAT offers connecting services to NECTD’s Orange Line via our Route 8 and 9 services via Lisbon LandingPlease see NECTD’s website for fare and service information.

Northeastern Connecticut Transit District

CTrail Shoreline East

CTrail operates the daily commuter rail service along the shoreline of Connecticut from New Haven to New London daily, serving multiple stops along the way. Connecting service to the Hartford line and Metro-North services is available in New Haven.

SEAT offers connecting services to Shoreline East via our Routes 1, 2, 3, 12, 13, 14, 15 & 108 via New London Union Station. Please see CTrail’s website for fare and service interval information.

CTrail Shoreline East

Amtrak Northeast Regional

Amtrak operates the daily rail service to Boston and New York City along the Northeast Corridor, with stops in Connecticut, Rhode Island and continuing service to further destinations.

SEAT offers connecting services to Amtrak via our Routes 1, 2, 3, 12, 13, 14, 15 & 108 via New London Union Station. Please see Amtrak’s website for fare and service interval information.

Service Alerts

  • 1/10/26 New London Smart Ride will not start until 9:00am today due to driver call out, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause

  • 1/8/26 Run 6 will be skipping High St at 8:00am due to icy conditions. We will resume at 9:00am

  • New Year's Eve Update 12/31: We are running regular service today. Chance of snow tonight, which may impact service and will post any changes. The admin office in Preston will close at 2 PM today. Jan 1, New Year's Day: No service. Have a happy and safe New Year's!
